Collabs&Singles

this compilation of music is just some of my collabs and singles over time. Music is something I keep close to my heart, so I’m grateful for anyone that has wanted to walk into this world I’ve created or have welcomed me inti theirs.

Crossroads is a half-written freestyle that serves as a preface to my latest self-published book “To Whom It May Concern“ and decided to keep around.

Ambiguous Ambivalence (2023)

by Life$tyle

“Amibiguous Ambivalence”, shorthanded as A.A., released after “Enter the Void”, but takes place after (technically before and after, simutaneously) “NOIZ”.

A.A. is a conceptual experience, although not entirely story driven. It’s loosely based on the theory that after death we relive our lives to experience our sins and salvation, so that we may understand how we’ve effected those in our lives. Rather than going through that verbatim, i decided to go another route by twisting said theory and creating my own Purgatory.

A.A. is a reflection of an emotional Purgatory. After escaping into a void of nothingness, we start to experience flashbacks of the world we’ve left behind. These memories cover a range of the good and bad, but rather than being visual, it’s more of a subconscious self expression; bottled up emotions leaking out due to the overwhelming silence after escaping physical Hell. Now we must learn to balance our mental self to navigate through a new Heaven/Hell, our mind.

NOIZ (2023)

by Life$tyle

“NOIZ” is the follow up album after the “Enter the Void” EP. More specifically, it takes place leading up to/during the track “Upon Jacob’s Ladder” in which our main character travels from the inferno to nirvana while coming to grips with the reality of his death.

“Noiz”, the album, follows our main character’s journey through literal Hell. What we experience as a 17 minute story, actually took over 2 years, and felt like a lifetime to complete. This album switches points of view, as it goes from 3rd person to 1st person to grasp the concept and world of the story as well as capture the thoughts and feelings of our protagonist.

This album is specal to me because it takes me back to my roots and serves as a tribute to my late father, my biggest supporter when i began my music journey. He had been waiting for me to record some new heavy tunes for some years, and even asked if i’d re-record old tracks from one of my previous bands, but with my vocals instead of the original vocalist. I was unable to do so due to copyrights and such, but I had always planned to make some new stuff for him. I regret not showing him this album while it was unfinished, but the loss is what helped me push through to completion. It’s definitely a bitter sweet feeling.. Rest in Peace Dad. It still feels unreal to me. I Love You Always.

Enter the Void (2020)

by Life$tyle

Enter the Void is a journey only focused on 3 major points in life.. birth, love, and death.

this release was less about the music (although it was great to have a spark of inspiration that made me experiment and venture out of my comfort zone) and more about the philosophical thoughts that brought me to that point.

POET (2016)

by Life$tyle

This album was originally inspired to be a sequel to my first self published book, “B.A.E.” Though the book was originally a fictitious character, this collection of music comes from a very personal place and speaks on thoughts, emotions, and events that took place during a very dark time in my life as well as things that happened or had been stated during my upbringing. This body of work was very self-reflecting and is a very big part of my personal growth.
